⭐️ Governance Portal requests

In order to help optimize our database calls, there are a few improvements we can make around how we work with GraphQL.

Create an improved system for managing and displaying governance metadata, specifically for polls and delegates. Richer metadata would enable novel use-cases for the Voting Portal and would simplify the process of GovAlpha.

Add user flow for renewing delegate contract and add flow for redelegating MKR. Necessary due to the 1y expiry of delegate contracts by design.

We're actively researching gasless voting mechanisms including Snapshot. We'll collaborate with GovAlpha on applicability of such tools.

Currently users can connect a Gnosis Safe through the walletconnect feature, but we lack a native integration with the Safe SDK. This also blocks multisig users from using the commenting features since off-chain signatures are not handled correctly.

Deprecate dai.js , a Javascript library once started by the Maker Foundation that we have been maintaining thus far. We consider dai.js as obsolete since it has many (superior) open-source alternatives, has zero community engagement and incurs significant engineering overhead to maintain. We expect that this code refactor will make the Governance Portal more stable & secure, but also more future-proof and easier to work on.

Allow for voters to create a hyperlink for their vote, which shows a rich embed. Should show a dedicated simple page or overlay/popup which contains: 1) the person's vote, 2) the person's comment and potentially 3) the # of MKR put behind that vote. Could also include live details related to the vote itself (eg. status, vote breakdown visual etc)

This label informs the user at a glance how active a delegate has been. This also serves as a neutral and decentralised mechanism for flagging delegate contracts that are no longer actively participating.
